Thanks so much for sending in all your requirements for rooms at the EAM 2008 Conference.  We’ve been at work locating another hotel in the area that can help us out with your rooming requests.  

Option #1:  The Holiday Inn
I am pleased to say that the Holiday in National Airport has provided us with the following :

• The Holiday Inn is located 4 blocks from the Marriott and they have a shuttle to the Metro.
• They are currently holding 20 rooms for us until the cut-off reservation of  Monday, April 28,2008
• Rooms will be singles/and or doubles and will cost a reduced rate of $229.00/night plus 10.25% tax.  Parking is same as Marriott = $16.00/day

• Once you put the dates you are requesting into the system, chose corporate rate and it will populate to your group code and scroll down to book room.

Option #2:  Marriott (still have rooms available on open market) Think about sharing!

• The Marriott still has some rooms available at the Hotel  at higher rates for Wednesday night
• Check rooming there for EAM – some people are shifting their reservations
• The currently have the following rooms available: Remember our cut-off here is 4/25/08
• After our cut-off date  for standard rooms go to the open market rates.
• Wednesday night:  loads of rooms at the $300/night rate until Friday – then this reverts to a $359/night rate after Friday
• Thursday night: currently 5 rooms available at the $359/night rate
• Friday night: 30 rooms available at the $329/night rate
• Booking a room W-TH-FRI   PUTS ROOMS AT THE $359/nightly RATE IN THE OPEN MARKET

 
 
 
 
Option #3 Sharing the Cost.

Many of you indicated your willingness to share rooms so you could split the rates.  If you have indicated this you must give me permission to resend this email to all those folks who wanted to share.  Please respond today about releasing your email addresses to each other so you can find someone to room with.
